Your Small Change Can Make a Big Difference!
MidFirst Bank is once again hosting a coin fundraiser for our school.  For every penny, nickle, dime or quarter donated by September 16, MidFirst Bank will match what we collect up to $1,000. So break open your piggy banks and check under the couch cushions.  Every penny counts!

Commit to Catholic Education
Did you know the state legislature extended the deadline for making your CTODP contribution from December 31 to April 15?  That means you can now prepare your tax returns, see how much you are paying the state in income taxes and then decide how much you want to redirect to CTODP to benefit our school.  Even if you wait until April 15, 2011 to make your contribution, you can still apply the tax credit to your 2010 State tax return (contributions made after December 31 can also qualify as a charitable deduction on your 2011 Federal tax returns).

CTODP has started a 40-day "Commit to Catholic Education" pledge drive to raise funds for Catholic education using the state's Tuition Tax Credit.  Your pledge, due by September 30, is a simple statement of intent -- if you find that you pay or owe the State of Arizona income taxes for the 2010 tax year, you pledge to redirect all or some of those tax dollars to help students at St. Louis the King.  Just visit www.MakeYourPledge.org to make your pledge and ask your family and friends to make their pledge too!

Peter Piper Pizza Fundraiser Dinner:
Tuesday September 21st from 3 to 8 will be our first Peter Piper Pizza Fundraiser Dinner for this year. Here is an opportunity to not only support the school but get out of having to cook dinner. The school will get a percentage of all food sold that night if you have your flyer.  Don’t forget to buy your Peter Piper Pizza Scrip beforehand, that way we get even more money back to the school.

Parish Family Fun and Food Festival

Join us for a weekend of great food, state-fair quality rides, entertainment, bingo and a whole lot of fun!

To make this event the success it always is, we need your help.  Please volunteer to help at one of the booths or with setup, tear down, or in the parking lot.  It's a great way to meet new people and to give back to our parish.
